Job Overview

Family-owned independent business based in Cambuslang providing great food in a relaxing atmosphere within our new establishment.

We would like to employ a Café Assistant/Barista to work Saturday’s & Sunday’s 9am till 4.30pm and Friday’s from 5pm till 9pm plus be flexible with covering holidays.

Suitable for both young or mature person.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Making up take-away orders.
• Using Barista Machine.
• Serving customers.
• Keeping fridges fully stocked.
• Making sure store is clean and always follow good hygiene/health & safety procedures.
• Increasing sales by upselling additional cakes/drinks etc.
• If working in sit in section all tables should be served in a polite, friendly and timely manner.

Employer Expectations Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Experience in working in a barista/café preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for running own workload.
• Good organisational skills are paramount.
