Job Title: Cafe Assistant

If you have great customer service skills, are confident, and love working with people, this could be the ideal job for you. We are looking for a Cafe Assistant to work within one of Whitehaven's longest established and most popular cafes.

This is a full-time position, working 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Your shifts will include Saturdays, with Sundays and a weekday off each week. Part-time candidates will also be considered, including Saturdays as part of the working week. Hours are during the day (no evenings).

Responsibilities

1. Serve customers in a 120-seat cafe.
2. Take customer orders.
3. Serve food and drinks to tables.
4. Manage the counter and use the till.
5. Help keep the cafe clean and welcoming.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy environment, confident, and possess exceptional customer service skills. Prior experience in a cafe or restaurant is preferred but not essential. Ability to work on Saturdays is essential.
