About the role

The Leckford Estate was purchased by John Spedan Lewis (the founder of the Partnership) in 1928 as his private estate. It was converted into a limited company in 1929 and is now part of the John Lewis Partnership. In August 2001, the Leckford Estate became part of Waitrose & Partners, focusing on producing food for the Partnership’s food stores under the Leckford brand.

Located in the heart of rural Hampshire, Leckford Estate is an area of outstanding beauty, only 25 minutes from the New Forest. Join us and enjoy a remarkable and unrivalled working environment and setting.

Salary - £12.40 per hour

Hours of work – Full-time: 39 hours per week

About the role

Visitors to the beautiful Leckford Farm Shop often enjoy a break in the cosy and welcoming cafe overlooking the nursery, with drinks and food.

The suitable candidate will deliver excellent service and availability to customers through contact, replenishment, and housekeeping activities. Flexibility to meet the needs of the customer and Farm Shop is essential.

Key responsibilities include

Engaging with customers, replenishing stock, maintaining shop cleanliness, and operating tills to provide a comprehensive shopping experience.

This customer-facing role requires high standards of service, teamwork, and flexibility to meet the demands of a busy Farm Shop. Housekeeping skills are also necessary to uphold shop standards.
