Job description

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers.
• Take orders and upsell where possible.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and specials.
• Serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Prepare food and beverages.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Operate the till system, including inputting orders and processing payments.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene procedures.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the line manager.

Education and Qualifications

• Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene (provided).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Experience

• Previous bar or waiting experience is desirable.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.
• Experience with till operation and cash handling is desirable.
