Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Café and Catering Team Member to join our friendly team at Beacon Plus specialist college. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will play a key role in delivering excellent service, preparing food and beverages, and supporting catering events.

This role is based at Beacon Plus Community Café (Folkestone town centre), which is run by the Cafe Lead and our learners from The Beacon Plus specialist college. The college aims to value, support, and challenge its learners so that they can achieve success. We support learners to develop in all aspects of life in line with the preparing for adulthood framework.

Salary: KSA - £12.71 per hour

Hours: 9am - 3pm, Friday only, 6 hours per week (additional ad hoc hours available for catering events)

Contract type: All year, 52 weeks

Duration: Permanent

Reporting to: Café Lead
