Job summary

A hospitality service provider in Gatenby is looking for an individual to oversee shift operations, train staff, and ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities include stock control, cash handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Qualifications

  • Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous experience preferred.

  • Operating the till and cash handling - exploring upselling opportunities.
  • Making drinks and serving food.
  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming and friendly environment.
  • Demonstrate a real understanding of the menu items and explain it to customers.
Job description

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shift, ensuring the team is motivated and provides excellent customer service. You will be training staff, assisting the Manager with managerial tasks alongside all other front-of-house daily duties.

  • Ensure cleaning schedules are in place and followed by staff to maintain high standards
  • Operating the till and cash handling - exploring upselling opportunities and providing excellent customer service
  • Making drinks and serving food
  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming and friendly environment
  • Demonstrate a real understanding of the menu items and explain it to customers in an enthusiastic manner - able to train new starters
  • Cash management, giving change, recording orders, cashing up
Requirements
