Job summary

Tripod Partners is recruiting for a Cafcass Family Court Advisor in Swindon, offering around £36/hour. The role requires strong post-qualified experience in Children’s Services, including assessment and duty work, CIN/CP/LAC experience and the ability to manage complex cases.

You will write court reports, attend hearings and strategy meetings, and work across CPS sections while staying compliant and focused on safeguarding children.

Qualifications

• Strong post-qualification experience in Children’s Services, including Assessment and Duty work.
• Experience with CIN, CP, LAC, and complex CP/CLA cases.
• Ability to complete SWETs, Section 7/47 reports, and attend court.

Responsibilities

• You will need to have strong post qualified experience in Children’s' Team - Assessment, Duty work -
• Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
• Completing SWETs
• Section 7 reports
• Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions /ICPCs
• Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
• Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations
• Writing court reports and attending court
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.
