Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CAD Technician (SolidWorks/Steel) in West Bromwich to join a growing team supplying major UK sectors. You will design structured steelworks using SolidWorks and travel to client sites weekly to take measurements and refine plans.

The ideal candidate has SolidWorks experience, a background in metal design, and works well in a fast-paced engineering environment. The role offers £45,000–£55,000, a company van, mileage allowance, and a generous holiday

Are you a CAD Technician or similar from a steel background who can use SolidWorks, looking to join a growing company who are overflowing with new work supplying into the largest sectors in the UK such as Aerospace, Telecommunications, Heritage and Railway, and many more?

The ideal CAD Technician or similar will be experienced using 3D SolidWorks, with a background in metal design.
