CAD Technician (Solidworks)

28,000 - 30,000 + Training + Progression + Company Benefits

Are you a CAD Technician or similar with a background in SolidWorks looking to join a long-standing and prestigious company, where you will be recognised as a technical expert in your field, with progression routes into senior positions and different areas of the business?

In this varied role, you will use SolidWorks to design bespoke, tapered roof insulation systems for projects up to 1 million pounds. You will create BOMs, prepare drawings with project delivery schedules and work effectively in a team to complete your duties on time. You will communicate with clients, contractors and suppliers and have customers across Europe and Oceania.

This role would suit a CAD Technician or similar with a SolidWorks background looking for a challenging yet rewarding role for a company they would be proud to represent, who offer specific training, opportunities to progress and work on a variety of interesting projects.

The Role:

1. Design bespoke tapered roof insulation systems using SolidWorks.
2. Collaborate with the team to create high-performance roofing plans.
3. Ensure quality control in all designs.
4. Contribute to cost-effective, sustainable insulation solutions.
5. Monday to Friday (9AM-5PM)

The Person:

1. CAD Technician or similar
2. SolidWorks background
3. Commutable to Burntwood
