Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking a CAD Technician on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support engineering and operations by creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings and GIS mapping data.

You will produce and update CAD drawings (site plans, layouts, process diagrams, electrical drawings), manage drawing standards and documentation, and support GIS mapping and asset data updates within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Proven AutoCAD experience in an engineering or technical environment.
• Experience producing and amending technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update CAD drawings, including site plans, layouts, process flow diagrams, and electrical drawings.
• Maintain drawing standards, document control, and version management.
• Manage CAD libraries, templates, and technical documentation.
• Support GIS mapping activities and asset data updates.
• Act as the main point of contact for CAD-related queries and support.
