Job description

My client, a specialist UK-based Civil Engineering Consultancy specializing in Structural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, is seeking a Civil CAD Technician proficient in Civils 3D to join their team in York.

Applicants should have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a HNC/HND or BSc in Civil Engineering, and ideally possess experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority on wastewater treatment designs using AutoCAD or Civils 3D.

It is beneficial for applicants to reside locally, as the role requires working from the office.

This exciting opportunity allows you to collaborate with experienced Engineers on residential, commercial, and industrial projects for both private and public sector clients.

The role involves:

1. Sewerage and Pipeline Designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civils 3D.
2. Creating 2D and 3D design models and drawings for drainage and road layouts for residential developments.
3. Designing layouts, RC details, sections, site plans, and civil details using AutoCAD and Civils 3D.
4. Planning earthworks and levels.
