Align Property Partners is seeking a Bridges CAD Technician to produce high-quality bridge drawings and supporting documentation in line with CAD standards.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners and surveyors, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to deliver detailed construction drawings and ensure compliance with DMRB/MCHW. The role offers hybrid working, a permanent contract (3 days/week) and a clear path for professional development.

Competenze

• HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience on bridges or bridge modifications and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of DMRB and MCHW.
• Proficient AutoCAD usage.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Civil 3D is desirable.

Mansioni

• Produce high-quality CAD drawings and technical documentation for bridges.

Contract: Permanent, full-time or part-time (3 days per week)

Align Property Partners are seeking a passionate Bridges CAD Technician with experience in the productionof detailed technical drawings.

This is an exciting opportunity tobe part of a team of BridgeEngineers working closely within the company’s turn-key multi-disciplinary services,including Highways, Building & Quantity Surveyors, Civil and StructuralEngineers.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be responsible for producing high-quality CAD drawings and technical documentation for bridge projects, while also supporting a range of civil infrastructure schemes as required. All work will be completed according to Align's CAD standards and procedures.
• Preparation of drawings includingsketches and detailed construction drawings, using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with Align's drafting standards.
• Take responsibility for CAD tasks as directed by theSenior Engineers.
• Comply with Health & Safety and hold a strongunderstanding of CDM regulations.
• Contributeto a culture of continuous improvement, helping the team consistently meetand exceed targets.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Autodesk ACC or Bently ProjectWise experience would be advantageous.

What we're looking for:

• TechnicianMember (EngTech ICE) or working towards.
• HND / HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with substantial experience working within an engineering design consultancy or Local Authority.
• Experienceworking on new bridges or bridge modifications and / or maintenance projects underthe supervision of senior bridge engineers.
• Knowledgeand experience in the use of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) andManual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW).
• Proficientin the use of drawing packages e.g. AutoCAD
• Computerliterate, with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Full UKdriving licence.
