Design CAD Engineer – Civil Engineering

Salary:£30,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Location:Yorkshire & Humberside

Requirement:Full UK driving licence

The Role

Our client is seeking aDesign CAD Engineerwith a civil engineering background to join their integrated design team. The successful candidate will support projects across theYorkshire Water framework, from outline design through todetailed design, construction, and commissioning.

This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, using the latestCAD & BIM technology, while developing professionally within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

️ Producing2D & 3D CAD drawingsfor civil and drainage design

️ Working withAutodesk Construction Cloud / BIM360andCivils 3D

️ Preparing design solutions, drawings, reports, calculations & estimates

️ Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients

️ Supporting surveys, data evaluation & GPS surveying (advantage)

️ Ensuring compliance withHealth & Safety, CDM regs, ISO 9001

️ Staying updated with latest industry technologies & attending expos

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualification as aCAD Engineerwith civil design experience

Strong knowledge ofdrainage design & water industry standards(WIMES, CIWEM, Sewer Sector Guidance)

Experience withBIM integration & hydraulic design principles

Excellentcommunication, teamwork & problem-solving skills

A proactive mindset with willingness to learn & develop

Full UK driving licence+ own transport
