CAD Technician – Roofing & Façade Design
Location: Darlington
Salary: £40,000 – £47,500 (competitive, aligned with experience – please don’t let salary expectations stop you applying)

We’re looking for a CAD Technician with experience in roofing, cladding, or rainscreen systems (curtain walling experience also considered) to join a specialist building envelope contractor in Darlington.

The Role

• Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings for roofing, cladding and façade systems
• Support material take-offs, schedules and design coordination
• Work closely with design teams, engineers and site staff
• Be involved across the full project lifecycle, from concept to installation

About You

• Proven CAD Technician/Draughtsperson experience in roofing, cladding or rainscreen design
• Proficient in AutoCAD (3D desirable but not essential)
• HNC or equivalent in construction, design or engineering
• Detail-driven with strong communication and organisational skills
