Overview

CAD Technician - Permanent Role | Civil Engineering Company | KT15

Our client, a reputable and growing civil engineering company based in KT15, is seeking a detail-driven CAD Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support a range of domestic construction projects from £100k to £2.5m in value. Location: KT15 (Must live within 20 miles of Addlestone). Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time. Salary: Competitive, based on experience. Office hours 7am - 4pm.

Responsibilities

• Pricing drawings, Preliminary drawings to construction drawings.
• Familiar with reinforcement drawings, concrete works, drainage, setting out.
• Liaison with house manufacturer, QS, Client.
• 3D modelling for quote presentations and presenting 3D modelling as part of quote presentations to the client or other stakeholders.
• Ensuring all up to date drawings are downloaded and saved from relevant parties involved; Incorporating and circulating changes.
• Establish quantities for purchasing.
• Assist Site Team with any queries they have related to the drawings; Flag any changes to the site team.
• Log weekly workload / updates for Team Meeting input.
• Carry out site visits when required.
• Confident to learn (or already has experience) in setting out (we own a LEICA).

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' UK experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Archicad or Revit required and Autocad or Civils.
• 3D Modelling not a must but a nice to have.
• Experience in landscape designs not a must but a nice to have.
• Clean Class B driving licence.
• Location requirement: KT15 (Must live within 20 miles of Addlestone).
