Job summary

Job Description:

  • The CAD technician will liaise with customers to agree on design details.
  • Prepare and revise CAD layout drawings.
  • Prepare production documentation.
  • Plan and manage multiple projects.
  • Assist customers and colleagues with technical support.
  • Respond to customer queries, adhering to Customer Service Standards at all times.

You will ideally be proficient in AutoCAD or 2D CAD software with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Within a customer-focused department, you will need a flexible approach and be committed to achieving daily targets.

It would be good to see candidates with:

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Methodical and structured approach to tasks.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to produce professional, grammatically correct correspondence.
  • Positive, problem-solving attitude.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Salary: £24,000 – £36,000 per annum, reviewed after 6 months’ probation.
