Job description

An opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and confident Technician to join our growing country technical division, which is split between London and Telford. The role can be based from either the Telford or London office.

You will work with a team of Design Engineers delivering technical solutions to Freyssinet across the UK. Being embedded in a team of dynamic and innovative structural engineers will give you the opportunity to expand your experience in design and contribute actively to projects.

Duties will include:

1. Producing and coordinating the delivery of technical 2D drawings for structural systems.
2. Assisting and engaging with Engineers in addressing client requirements, comments, and revisions of the technical package.
3. Liaising with clients to meet project requirements in terms of drawings.
4. Developing and implementing Standards of Quality associated with the discipline within the company.
5. Document control.
6. Estimating material quantities.
7. Experience in a similar role and a portfolio of works required.
8. CAD software knowledge: AutoCAD, Revit (SolidWorks would be advantageous).
9. Desirable software skills: 3D modeling and site logistic animations.
10. Experience in producing and coordinating the delivery of technical drawings for structural systems.
11. Experience in fabrication of structural elements and construction processes for temporary works, steel structures, or reinforced concrete structures.
12. Experience with steel structures.
13. Experience in automation/parametric 3D modeling.
14. Commercial awareness of materials, components, and suppliers in the UK market.
15. A good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel minimum).
