Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a CAD Technician for an Ashford-based client in the building and construction sector. The role involves creating, updating and managing 2D and 3D CAD drawings, translating design concepts into accurate models and coordinating drawing revisions.

This full-time position offers hybrid working after an initial training period, a salary of £30,000–£34,000 per year, and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Strong CAD skills with a proven track record producing high quality technical drawings.
• Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and familiarity with CAD best practices.
• Ideally some exposure to the construction sector or building services, civil or structural projects.
• Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and manage 2D and 3D CAD drawings and technical documentation

• Work with project teams to ensure drawings meet design, constructability and compliance requirements

• Support on site surveys and incorporate measured data into drawings when needed
