Job summary

A leading firm of chartered surveyors is looking for a CAD Technician to join their Architectural Team in High Wycombe. The role involves producing technical drawings for construction projects and supporting the architectural team. What will you be doing?

As a CAD Technician sat within the Architectural Team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our projects supporting the architectural team in producing technical drawings for construction and refurbishment projects.

You'll work closely with the wider Building and Project Consultancy Team as well as other professionals to produce detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and Revit software.

You will attend sites throughout the UK undertaking measured surveys of buildings utilising 3d scanning equipment, producing survey drawings including floor plans, elevations and sections.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is advantageous. Training will be provided if needed

Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate, error-free technical drawings under supervision.

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to liaise with team members and clients.

Qualifications: A minimum of HNC/HND Certificate in a construction related field.

Organisation: Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify and solve design-related issues efficiently.

Ability to prioritise and adapt to change

Education: A degree or diploma in architectural related field with CAD experience is preferred but not essential.
