Job summary

Circet Ireland & UK is seeking a TM CAD Technician in East Kilbride for a 12-month FTC. You will create drawings using AutoCAD and support site telecoms design.

The role requires ability to work under deadlines, collaborate with design engineers, maintain drawing libraries, and continuously improve drafting processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel and Outlook and able to work from home when needed.

Circet Traffic Management are currently looking for TM CAD Technicians in East Kilbride - This is a 12- Month FTC.

Main Duties:

• Drawing Creation: Create drawings according to company and client specifications using AutoCAD to create site specific telecoms site designs.
• CAD Tools Utilisation: Use templates, CAD blocks, and customised routines to enhance efficiency.
• Workload Management: Organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and forecasts.
• Collaboration: Assist other CAD Technicians, Design Lead, and Design Engineers in developing design solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Check your own drawings for accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Library Maintenance: Help maintain and update the Design Standard Drawing Library.
• Process Improvement: Generate ideas to reduce drafting time and improve quality, including simplifying processes.

Knowledge requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Able to liaise and maintain good relationships with local authorities and 3rd parties
• Good organisational, time management and communication skills
• Able to work proactively, accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlinesAbility to work in a high turnover/fast paced environment as part of a team but also independently (with ability to work from home)
• PC literate/good knowledge of Excel & Outlook
• Must be a team player
