Job summary

Circet Ireland & UK is seeking a TM CAD Technician for East Kilbride on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will produce telecoms site drawings with AutoCAD, apply CAD templates, and support the design team with drafting solutions. You will help QA checks and maintain the Design Library while collaborating with engineers and authorities.

The role demands accuracy, strong organisation and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment. Work from office with potential home-working as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar CAD role is advantageous.
• Able to liaise and maintain good relationships with local authorities and 3rd parties.
• Good organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Able to work proactively, accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• Ability to work in a high turnover/fast paced environment as part of a team but also independently (with ability to work from home).
• PC literate with good knowledge of Excel & Outlook.

• Drawing Creation: Create drawings according to company and client specifications using AutoCAD to create site specific telecoms site designs.
• CAD Tools Utilisation: Use templates, CAD blocks, and customised routines to enhance efficiency.
• Workload Management: Organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and forecasts.
• Collaboration: Assist other CAD Technicians, Design Lead, and Design Engineers in developing design solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Check drawings for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Library Maintenance: Help maintain and update the Design Standard Drawing Library.
• Process Improvement: Generate ideas to reduce drafting time and improve quality.

Main Duties:

Knowledge requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
