Job summary

A fast-growing Transformation Services Provider in the UK is seeking a CAD Technician to create drawings and diagrams using 2D AutoCAD. Responsibilities include editing plans, managing workload, and completing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills and be detail-oriented, with flexibility to travel to client sites in Reading and Bristol.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using 2D AutoCAD for designing and editing plans.
• Ability to manage workload in line with service level agreements.
• Prepared to perform site visits as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and edit plans using 2D AutoCAD.
• Complete administrative tasks such as shipping requests and work permits.
• Produce Blanks and Redline Drawings.

CAD Technician, Reading,

We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our team and to work across our client's site based in Reading and Bristol.

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating drawings and diagrams according to specifications, utilising AutoCAD to update various drawings including data and containment layers, schematics, rack layouts, and other pertinent drawings.

Core responsibilities

• Designing and editing plans using 2D AutoCAD
• Manage workload in line with service level agreements.
• Timely completion of all relevant administrative tasks such as shipping requests, work permits, and site access arrangements.
• Production of Blanks and Redline Drawings.
• Perform site visits as necessary.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
• Focused and able to work within a team and independently.
• Good communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Flexible to travel to clients sites based in Reading and Bristol
• Must be eligible for SC Clearance
