The Role

As an M&E CAD Technician, you'll create and maintain accurate service and installation drawings to support design intent, project delivery, and on-site installation. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure every technical detail is right - from early design through to completion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce and update service, installation, and worktop drawings
  • Interpret design concepts and translate them into technical M&E layouts
  • Liaise with design, project, and installation teams to ensure accurate output
  • Collaborate with contractors and specialists to ensure smooth site execution
  • Maintain drawing directories, revision control, and post-survey updates
  • Support the project team with additional technical drawings as required

About You

  • Experienced in a CAD Technician role (kitchen/joinery sector preferred)
  • Strong drawing production skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of M&E layouts and construction/building practices
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
