  • Ensuring outputs comply with relevant technical and health & safety standards
  • Supporting BIM workflows and model coordination
  • Contributing to the development of CAD and BIM templates and standards
  • Identifying ways to improve design and presentation methods
  • Supporting apprentices and graduates with CAD best practice
  • Managing workloads across multiple projects and deadlines
CAD Technician Requirements

The successful CAD Technician will need a minimum of three years' relevant drafting experience together with strong AutoCAD capability and an understanding of civil engineering drawings. You will require:

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience working alongside engineers and project managers
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of BIM Level 2 workflows and ISO 19650 standards.
CAD Technician Salary & Benefits
