Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

What will you be doing?

As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our projects. You'll work closely with Designers, Engineers, and other professionals to produce detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. You'll produce telecom planning drawings, general arrangement drawings, detail design drawings, as-built drawings, schematics, elevations, and Land Registry drawings, along with the preparation and completion of project documentation.

You'll also be updating internal reporting system to CAD Team Lead, support the Design Team in the delivery of high quality, accurate project documentation and updating design drawings to “As Built” status from field reports and red line drawings.

Completing drawing checks and producing red line drawing mark ups. You'll revise and update plans and make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback and project requirements.

What you’ll bring

  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CAD Technician in an architectural or engineering firm.
  3. Steel connection detailing and foundation design.
  4. Technical knowledge and design specs for 3UK, BT/EE and MBNL
  5. Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
  7. Excellent communication, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  8. Problem-Solving ability to identify and solve design-related issues efficiently.
  9. Ability to prioritise and adapt to change.
  10. A degree or diploma in CAD, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
