About The Role

To provide design and technical drawing services to our Building Surveying and Property Management departments.

As a CAD Technician, you will be part of a professional team, working alongside internal and external clients involved in providing services across:

• Refurbishment & new build projects
• Feasibility studies
• Planning and Building Regulation applications
• Land Registry Plans
• Space Planning
• Fire Insurance Valuations
• Measured surveys
• Building Height surveys

You will be required to prepare a varied range of design and technical drawings to meet clients' expectations and timelines.

You should possess a strong understanding of building design principles and be adept at producing accurate technical drawings.

What Matters Most In This Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• To complete working drawings for a wide range of building projects, in line with regulatory requirements and client/company specifications
• A knowledge of current Building Regulations
• To maintain accurate records in line with internal procedures. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience working to tight deadlines within a busy department
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably obtained via commercial experience. Experience with 2023 version and onwards preferred but not essential
• Interest in 3D modelling, SketchUp, and rendering software

Available Locations: London, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham

Salary Band: Experience and location dependent
