Balmoral Tanks, part of Balmoral Group, is seeking a CAD Technician to join its design and technical team in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The role focuses on producing and amending 2D and 3D drawings, supporting manufacture and installation teams, and ensuring designs meet customer specs.

You will work with a collaborative, experienced team on diverse engineering projects from design through to installation, with strong emphasis on CAD accuracy and documentation control.

Competenze

• Degree or relevant higher education in Design or Engineering.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor.
• Previous CAD Technician or CAD Designer experience advantageous, but graduates will be considered.
• Ability to produce and amend accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

The Role - CAD Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician with 2D and 3D CAD experience to join a supportive and experienced technical team, working on a variety of engineering projects from initial design through to manufacture and installation.

The successful CAD Technician will work closely with the Design, Sales, Contracts, Manufacturing and Installation teams to produce accurate technical drawings and support the successful delivery of customer projects. The role will involve creating and amending engineering drawings, maintaining project documentation and ensuring designs meet both customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.

You will be joining a highly motivated, technical team where you will have the opportunity to further develop your CAD skills, gain exposure to different engineering projects and progress your career within an established manufacturing business.
