CAD Designer / Technician

A unique opportunity for a CAD Designer/ Technician to work for an award-winning live events agency. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects with global brands.

The company

This is a manufacturing agency that specialise in creating immersive experiences and is led by the events industry. They have an amazing portfolio of clients who are all in different industries. Their portfolio of clients is growing even further with their niche offering of live events. They do everything to bring the design to life!

The role

They are now looking for a CAD Designer / Technician using CAD software to design staging and other fabricated assemblies for the Live Events Industry. This will give you the opportunity to work with global brands and industry leaders and be part of a passionate, supportive and friendly team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking 3D models and producing drawings, cutting lists and other manufacturing files
  • Experience of using AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of construction and fabrication techniques in a range of materials, especially aluminium and steel
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience of preparing files for CNC router and laser cutter

The candidate

We are looking for a passionate, experienced CAD Technician to help support the live events industry. You will need to have experience of using CAD software to design staging and other fabricated assemblies for the Live Events Industry. You will need to have experience of producing 3D CAD models of assemblies that will be fabricated in aluminium, steel, and wood. Alongside this, you will need experience of 3D models and producing drawings, cutting lists and other manufacturing files.
