Job summary

AVK is seeking a CAD Design Engineer for UK-based projects across data centres and financial sectors. You will be responsible for producing Eplan/AutoCAD drawings for complex electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with UK standards and project specifications.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to integrate design inputs, maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing processes, and contribute to accurate design planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Design, or relevant field.
• Proven experience with CAD software (Eplan/AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Revit).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties.

Responsibilities

• Produce Eplan/AutoCAD drawings for bespoke, complex electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with design.
• Maintain knowledge of UK standards and codes of practice.
• Assist in preparing reports, technical submissions, designs and drawings.
• Produce cable termination sheets from design drawings for clear information.
• Plan projects to ensure accurate design and tolerances, minimising errors.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate inputs and feedback.
