Due to a significant engineering refurbishment project, my client is seeking support in the Design team by hiring an experienced CAD engineer. The role involves supporting engineering teams in maintaining drawings and supporting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and produce manufacturing drawings and sketches for maintenance equipment in collaboration with the Engineering department.
2. Utilize your CAD expertise to create technical documentation.
3. Create and maintain up-to-date records, including engineering drawings and technical plant documentation.
4. Provide technical support throughout all project phases as required.

The Right Person

The successful CAD Engineer will have Mechanical design/engineering experience and possess the following key skills:

1. Proficiency in CAD and document control software, ideally Autodesk.
2. Mechanical design/engineering experience within the civil engineering industry.
3. Experience with Autodesk Vault is advantageous.
