Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday (including off-the-job training)
Salary: £20,000 p/a
Our Apprenticeship programme offers both face-to-face and virtual training to develop the skills and knowledge required for the role. You will learn from a role model through shadowing and hands-on experience throughout your apprenticeship.
As an Apprentice, you will receive full support to achieve a nationally recognised qualification by the end of your apprenticeship with Air Liquide. You will attend college, funded by the business, and be supported by an experienced team member, gaining expertise in delivering outstanding service. Additionally, you will be assigned a buddy and assessor to guide you in your daily tasks.
The role, within the IMS & Technical team and reporting to the IMS & Technical Manager, involves preparing and amending drawings and schematics using computer-aided software and technical documents, under the mentorship of design and project engineers.
This position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely design documentation for installations on Customer and Air Liquide sites, hardware designs, and material specifications, crucial for safety, reliability, and business development.
During your role, you will enhance your technical knowledge in pressure systems, material selection, and process design, while also gaining broader business management awareness through interactions with other departments such as operations, commercial, procurement, and finance.
