Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with an established East Yorkshire business to recruit a CAD Engineer. You will produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings and support projects from enquiry to delivery, working with internal and external teams to resolve technical queries.

With strong IT, planning and organisational skills, you will manage competing priorities, ensure quality standards, and contribute practical solutions in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD to produce 2D technical drawings.
• Good IT, planning and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach with colleagues and external contacts.
• Transferable skills in construction/manufacturing or similar technical environments encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, including plans, layouts, elevations and supporting information.
• Preparing drawings and design information to support projects through different stages.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Managing drawing information and documentation to ensure records are accurate and organized.
