  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry legislation and standards.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and third parties.
  • Support product development using systems engineering principles and gated review processes.
About you:
  • You will have a strong commitment to Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges early.
  • A continuous improvement approach, seeking innovative and effective engineering solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to design and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with a range of engineering software and IT systems.
  • A solid understanding of company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Degree in an engineering discipline or relevant experience.
  • Proficient in engineering design and draughting, including knowledge of relevant standards.
  • Strong experience using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
  • Understanding of engineering processes including systems engineering, requirements management, validation & verification, and product safety.
  • Experience in engineering design, calculation, and analysis.
  • Experience using CAD to design mechanical products and/or tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders.
  • Willingness to be involved across the full product design lifecycle.
  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (desirable).
  • Knowledge of DfM, DfSS, DMAIC or similar methodologies (desirable).
