CAD Engineer

Our Grantham based Client is looking for a CAD Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

The ideal CAD Engineer will have AutoCAD experience and knowledge of electrical systems.

THE ROLE
Your responsibilities as a CAD Engineer will include:

- Using AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D to produce detailed sketches.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials from engineering and product drawings.
- Assist with documentation and data management in engineering change processes.
- Support cross-functional teams with drawing updates and design revisions.
- Interpret design inputs and sketches to develop comprehensive CAD models and documentation.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal CAD Engineer will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Familiar with SolidWorks and basic 3D modelling concepts.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- 2 years of relevant industry experience in CAD drafting or design
- A background or interest in electrical systems and the ability to read electrical schematics will be considered an asset.
