CAD ENGINEER

My client is looking for a talented and detail-focused CAD Engineer to join a growing engineering team and play a key role in transforming creative concepts into products that can be accurately manufactured, installed and delivered to customers.

Every drawing you create provides the blueprint for production and installation. Your attention to detail will help ensure components fit correctly, projects meet the required technical and safety standards, and customers receive exactly what they expect.

You’ll work alongside experienced designers, engineers, manufacturers and installation teams, contributing to a collaborative environment where quality, accuracy and practical problem-solving are highly valued.

If you enjoy solving technical problems, creating accurate engineering drawings and seeing your work progress from concept through to reality, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

The Role

My client is looking for an organised, detail-focused CAD Engineer who enjoys combining technical precision with practical problem-solving.

Working under the guidance of the Director of Design & Engineering and Engineering Team Leader, you’ll collaborate closely with production and installation teams to ensure drawings and technical information are accurate, issued on time and aligned with project requirements.

This role would suit someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in producing high-quality work and wants to develop within a growing engineering team where every project presents a new challenge.

  • Managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy
  • Responding positively and efficiently to design amendments and specification changes
  • Contributing ideas that improve processes, efficiency and engineering quality
  • Taking ownership of your work and ensuring technical information is accurate, consistent and reliable
