BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.

Job Purpose / Overview

• The Digital Drawing Engineer is responsible for producing digital drawings within Construction Support Services, adhering to the project's quality standards.
• The Digital Drawing Engineer will liaise with relevant stakeholders to complete assigned tasks.
• Supporting design change management during construction, collecting and consolidating information from site contractors to produce As-Built models or drawings for the client.
• Knowledge of swept path analysis to assess vehicle movement around the site, ensuring layout safety and compliance.

Contextual Information

The Hinkley Point C Project is divided into programmes aligned with plant islands or discipline-based scopes, delivered by EDF Nuclear New Build resources and major contracts.

Principal Accountabilities

• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models
• Print limited drawings for on-site collaboration
• Gather and consolidate information
• Follow project quality procedures
• Manage delays impacting the programme
• Create and maintain detailed records
• Report on work progress
• Assist in issue resolution
• Maintain effective relationships with site teams
• Identify and escalate issues
• Use SET model and drawing management systems
• Adhere to project BIM standards
• Experience with GIS and AutoCAD
• Knowledgeable in swept path analysis for vehicle movement
