Job description

We're actively recruiting for an experienced CAD Engineer to join our clients busy team based in Burntwood on a permanent basis.

About The Role

We're looking for a proactive and technically minded engineer to provide both technical and commercial support to our clients internal teams and customers. Youll play a key role in delivering bespoke engineered solutionsguiding products from concept through to manufacturewhile ensuring customer requirements are met in line with cost, quality and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice and product specification support to clients
  • Resolve technical queries and propose cost-effective solutions
  • Create detailed CAD drawings and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with production teams to bring products from concept to manufacture
  • Ensure projects meet client expectations within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Contribute to departmental output aligned with company quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement of processes, safety and productivity

What Youll Bring

  • Background in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software
  • Degree in Engineering or similar technical qualification
  • Proven ability to read and produce technical drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-first mindset with a professional, ethical approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
  • IT proficiency including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Self-motivated, with a collaborative team spirit
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively

Working Hours - 37 Hours Per Week

  • Monday to Thursday 08:45 - 17:00
  • Friday 08:45 - 16:30
