Job summary

SRG is seeking a CAD Draftsperson to support a busy manufacturing site, developing and managing engineering drawings across disciplines. You will produce and update 2D/3D CAD drawings, carry out site surveys, support design reviews, and manage the site’s drawing register, ensuring compliance with site and legislative requirements.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external contractors on ongoing projects, with a 12-month contract and ASAP start at Kirklees facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsperson, CAD Designer, or similar role.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD (AutoCAD or similar).
• Experience producing layouts, P&IDs, piping schematics, or MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update 2D/3D CAD drawings for multiple disciplines.
• Carry out site surveys and support design reviews.
• Manage the site’s engineering drawing register and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors on ongoing projects.

We're recruiting a CAD Draftsperson to support a busy manufacturing site with the development and management of engineering drawings across multiple disciplines. You'll work closely with Engineering teams and site stakeholders to ensure drawings remain accurate, up to date, and compliant with site and legislative requirements.

The role will involve producing and updating 2D and 3D CAD drawings, carrying out site surveys, supporting design reviews, and managing the site's engineering drawing register. You'll also collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to support ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsperson, CAD Designer, or similar role
• 2D and 3D CAD experience (AutoCAD or similar)
• Experience producing engineering layouts, P&IDs, piping schematics, or MEP drawings
• Understanding of manufacturing or industrial environments
