Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive, multi-discipline CAD support for all projects.

Qualifications

• Good general engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or experience with other drawing/visualisation software such as Vectorworks, WYSIWYG, and SketchUp.
• Background in live events and product knowledge is desirable but not essential.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with diverse teams.
• High level of initiative, planning, and organisational skills.
• High standards of performance and attention to detail.
• Teamwork orientation.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Windows-based software such as MS Office.

• Experience or background in live events is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Research, produce, and update engineering CAD drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and industry compliance of visualisations.
• Maintain CAD department visualisation systems, hardware, and software.
• Support senior CAD Designers with projects.
• Collaborate with project management and asset strategy teams to review equipment availability and suggest alternatives based on technical specifications.
• Convert digital media content supplied by customers to required formats.
• Adhere to company policies, rules, procedures, and obligations.
• Perform additional tasks as required, consistent with the role's profile.
