Job summary

Market 36 Recruitment Ltd seeks a CAD Designer / CNC Programmer to join our client in Witham. You will produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings and translate design information into manufacturing instructions, working closely with designers and the production team to ensure orders are prepared for manufacture.

This role suits a recent engineering or product design graduate or someone with CAD and CNC programming experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or similar 3D CAD software.
• Engineering/Product design/Manufacturing qualification preferred.
• Experience with VCarve or similar CNC programming software is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new software and manufacturing processes.
• Graduate or junior designers encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for manufacture.
• Create designs using Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Translate design information into manufacturing instructions.
• Program CNC machinery using VCarve or similar software.
• Prepare cutting files and toolpaths for production.
• Maintain drawing and project records; resolve technical queries.
