Overview

CAD Designer (AutoCAD) — £45,000 - £50,000 + Project Ownership + Training + Progression • Birkenhead

Are you a CAD or Architectural Technician with a background in the HVAC or the built environment sectors, looking to take the next step in your career with ongoing training and clear progression?

On offer is the chance to join a market-leading specialist in spa and pool environments, delivering high-end installations for residential and commercial clients across the UK. You'll be part of a close-knit team working on some of the most unique and technically complex wellness spaces in the industry.

In this role, you'll produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, manage multiple projects from initial brief through to site delivery, and coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Based full-time at their Birkenhead office, you'll have full ownership of your design packages and contribute to bespoke, design-led solutions.

This position would suit a CAD designer with a background in HVAC or architectural projects, looking for a hands-on role with long-term development in a growing business.

The Role

• Lead design of bespoke spa, pool, and wellness environments using AutoCAD
• Manage projects from initial concept through to site delivery and handover
• Produce technical drawings, finishes schedules, and construction documentation
• Attend design reviews, client meetings, and coordination sessions
• Conduct site surveys and interpret architectural and MEP data
• Collaborate with in-house teams, suppliers, and contractors to deliver to spec and standard
• Full-time, office-based role in Birkenhead (Monday to Friday)

• CAD Technician or similar with a background in MEP design or build environment
• Commutable to Birkenhead
