• Experience using a Cloud Based CDE such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (or BIM360), ProjectWise or similar.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and producing neat drawings to scale.
• Hybrid working option in Leeds after probation; occasional site visits.
• ISO accredited environment experience and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Salary: £40-50,000 Depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced CAD / BIM Technician for our Leeds Office.

We are currently expanding our UK design team based in our Leeds office.

Projects are varied between civil, mechanical, electrical, and control elements.

Day-to-day tasks for the candidate will consist of:

• Generating 2D and 3D models of projects using input from existing drawings, models, surveys, and inputs from the wider project team.
• Development of models and periodic reviews with the project Team including clash detection, ALM, HAZOP, etc.
• Generating drawings from the above models managing the issuing of these internally.
• Internal QA and review.

The candidate should have some experience with the requirements below, if not all:

• Experience in working in a wastewater / water treatment plant design/engineering office or similar industry experience OR a qualification related to civil/mechanical engineering.
• Experience working with Revit or similar 3D BIM orientated software package. Experience using Plant 3D and Intelligent P&ID would be advantageous.
• Experience with BIM file naming conventions and proper procedures for applying status’ and revisions to drawings / documents
• Experience using a Cloud Based Common Data Environment (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (or BIM360), ProjectWise or similar
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience with printing neat, accurate detailed drawings done to scale.
• The job is based in Leeds, UK, with the option of Hybrid Working (mix of office & remote working) after a successful probation period. Occasionally there will be site visits.
• Be able to work on their own initiative and understand the importance to deliver work to meet deadlines agreed.
• Have experience working in an ISO accredited background and working to and delivering on tight deadlines.

Location: Leeds (hybrid working option available)

• Occasional site visits required to support design verification and coordination
