Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within CAD Design, ideally relating to curtain walling or facades.
• Full UK Driving License.

• Producing general arrangement drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Participating in design meetings, both at customer sites and via video platforms.

CAD Designer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of curtain walling / facade products for the construction industry, based in the Hertford area. In support ongoing growth they are seeking an enthusiastic CAD Designer to carry out site surveys and produce designs for projects with the use of AutoCAD 2024 LT.

CAD Designer Position Overview

• Travelling to customer sites to carry out site surveys throughout the UK and occasionally across Europe.
• Producing general arrangement drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Participating in design meetings, both at customer sites and via video platforms.
• Producing designs for installation purposes
• Coordinating design requirements with customers and suppliers

CAD Designer Position Requirements

• Proficient with AutoCAD or similar
• Based in a commutable distance of Hertford
• 3+ years of experience within CAD Design, ideally relating to curtain walling or facades
• Full UK Driving License
• Willingness to travel

CAD Designer Position Remuneration

• Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
• Private Health Insurance, following the qualifying period
• Pension & Death in Service benefit
• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
