CAD Designer

We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join our local client s team based in Halesowen, West Midlands. This long-standing company are looking for a CAD Designer to work in their office and factory.

The roles and responsibilities of a CAD Designer:

• Create and modify technical drawings using CAD software
• Assist in the design of custom press brake tools
• Collaborate with the MD and production team to ensure feasibility and manufacturability
• Operate Press Brake machines and Wire Eroders for testing and prototyping
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation for all designs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows and tools

Requirements of the CAD Designer:

• Technical Drawing and Drawing skills
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and solid works proficiency is essential
• Design Engineering knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field
