Salary: From 30,000pa DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

About the Role
As a CAD Design Specialist, you'll play a vital part in the design and delivery process, producing accurate 2D CAD drawings that guide project fabrication and installation. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams, translating concepts, site data, and technical inputs into practical, installation-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed and accurate 2D CAD drawings for manufacturing and installation purposes.
  • Interpret site data, sketches, and notes to produce reliable technical documentation.
  • Update and maintain existing CAD drawings in line with revisions or feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Organise and manage drawing files for efficient retrieval and version control.
  • Prepare final drawing sets to support project handovers.

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven work/employment experience as a CAD Technician, Designer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret sketches, survey data, and technical input.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of construction or installation processes (advantageous but not essential).
