Role: CAD Design Engineer

Salary: GBP 30,000 - GBP 37,000 per annum plus benefits (Depending on experience)

My client designs and manufactures a range of bespoke commercial rooms for various clients. They are looking to hire a CAD Design Engineer on a permanent basis in Stafford.

The CAD Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Degree/HND/HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering subject
• Graduate level considered, as well as those with 2-5 years' or more industry experience in a CAD/design role
• Good attention to detail
• Knowledge of CAD software: Inventor or Revit
• Experience with Joinery or any form of woodwork is desirable but not essential
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel as required, as a large part of the role involves visiting customer sites both in the UK and abroad
• Someone eager to progress and develop with the company long-term

The CAD Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

• Working as part of the Drawing Office
• Supporting both the Projects and Process Engineering teams
• Producing drawings using Inventor CAD software
• Creating layouts and detailed drawings in line with standards
• Keeping on top of project schedules
• Checking and reviewing drawings
