As part of their growth, an opportunity has arisen to join their Major Projects Design Team. This role is suitable for a detail-oriented engineer with strong design skills, eager to contribute to large-scale engineering solutions within a collaborative environment.

Design Engineer / Senior Engineering Technician - Role Overview

1. Produce temporary works designs for tender, preliminary, and construction stages, complying with legislation and standards.
2. Create technical drawings using Autodesk Revit.
3. Follow internal procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
4. Liaise with sales, operations, and technical teams to coordinate projects.
5. Support colleagues and contribute to workload management.
6. Mentor junior staff and refine design practices.
7. Manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
8. Participate proactively in team discussions and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience in construction or civil engineering design roles.
• BTEC/HNC/HND or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, Robot, SAP2000) and programming tools (e.g., Dynamo, Python) is desirable.
• Knowledge of temporary works systems or modular support products is advantageous.
