Job summary

HS2 Ltd is seeking a CAD Data Analyst to join the Digital Engineering team in the UK. The role focuses on CAD data management, data quality assurance, and data exchanges across the Common Data Environment, interfacing with suppliers.

You will act as SME for CAD data, produce content, ensure compliance with ISO19650 standards, and deliver training to HS2 functions and supply chain while driving data interoperability and process improvements.

• Manage data exchanges of Suppliers within HS2 Common Data Environment.

• Identify areas for improvement and feed into data requirements and standards.
• Contribute to the management and governance of information within the CDE, CAD focus.

The role requires strong CAD and 3D modelling skills across many disciplines for design, construction and operations and maintenance.The post holder will be working within the Digital Engineering team supporting delivery functions and interfacing with suppliers across information types (graphical, non-graphical and geospatial). The role will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CAD data management such as data production, content publishing, and compliance of data quality & assurance processes.As a CAD Data Analyst at HS2 you will play a key role -Accountabilities:* Responsible for management of data exchanges of Suppliers within or delivering to the HS2 Common Data Environment, with particular focus on CAD data.* Responsible for reporting data quality issues and analysis of root causes to the Digital Engineering Team, HS2 Delivery Teams and Suppliers, with particular focus on CAD data.* Responsible for compliance with Digital Engineering standards, specifications and operating procedures within HS2 and Suppliers.* Responsible for developing and delivering training and support to relevant HS2 business functions, Delivery Teams and our Suppliers regarding HS2 standards, specifications, tools and operating procedures.* Responsible for identifying areas for improvement and feedback into information requirements, specification development and standards creation.* Contribute to the management of the HS2’s Common Data Environment and governance of information, with a particular focus on CAD data.* Contribute to undertaking transformation of data for other functional uses within HS2 and facilitating appropriate data assurance and approval by others.* Contribute to the delivery of the Digital Engineering programme.
