Job description

CAD/CAM Technician - Hob Make

Holland Limited is a leading global manufacturer of precision tooling used in the production of tablets. We sell to over 100 countries worldwide and serve multi-national pharmaceutical companies. We have a reputation as a leader in tabletting science.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Using CAD/CAM software to create models and programs of master parts for tablet compression tooling.
  2. Manufacturing parts based on master tablet tooling designs and drawings.
  3. Operating die mould CNC milling machines.
  4. Performing inspection and visual validation using measuring equipment and vision systems, including micrometers, Vernier calipers, bench clocks, contour tracers, shadow graphs, and digital cameras.
  5. Finishing and polishing detailed embossing and features to meet manufacturing specifications.
  6. Completing process checks and updating schedules with Microsoft 360 applications.
  7. Supporting downstream engineering processes.
  8. Assisting with other machining operations as required.

Hours of work: Rotating shifts from 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm, including occasional Saturdays, paid as overtime.

Pay: Starting from £12.72 per hour plus an 18% shift premium (£15.01 per hour). Overtime is available but not guaranteed.

Job Type: Full-time, approximately 39 hours per week.
