Job summary

Hudson Shribman is seeking a CAD CAM Programmer / Mechanical Design Engineer to join its precision engineering team in Greater London. The role combines CAD/CAM programming, mechanical design and technical review across machined components and sheet metal work.

You will produce CAD/CAM programs using hyperMILL, interpret drawings, review manufacturing requirements and collaborate with machining, production and engineering teams. Salary negotiable DOE, 28 days' holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAD/CAM programming and mechanical design.
• Experience with HyperMILL CAD/CAM software is highly desirable.
• Background in precision engineering/manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD/CAM programs for machined components.
• Work with HyperMILL CAD/CAM software.
• Undertake mechanical design and engineering work.
• Review component designs and manufacturing requirements.
• Carry out technical reviews of machined components and sheet metal work.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with machining, production and engineering teams.
• Design and program with manufacture in mind.
